News Morang: APF FC Win The Belbari Invitational Gold Cup Title

Morang (GoalNepal) - APF Football Club, Kathmandu have won the title of fifth edition of the Belbari Buddha Air International Invitational Gold Cup Football Tournament. In the final held on Wednesday, APF defeated Rajarani FC, Rajarani 1-0 to win the tournament for the second year running.

Hari Karki's goal in the 48th minute of the match proved to be enough for APF. Hari was also adjudged the player of the match. He received Rs. 5,000 cash prize.

APF received whopping eight lakh rupees while Rajarani had to settle for four lakh rupees. Top Bahadur Bista of APF was named the player of the tournament. He received Rs. 25,000.

Raju Nagarkoti of APF was named the best goalkeeper, Peter Segun of Rara FC was named the best defender, Mani Lama of APF was namsd the best midfielder, Buddha Chemjong of Rara FC was named the best forward while Sudeep Shrestha of APF was named the best coach. Kasim Rai of Dangihat Youth Club was named the rising player of the tournament. All of them received Rs. 10,000 each.

Fode Fofana of Salahesh Youth Club finished the tournament as the top scorer and received Rs. 10,000 as well.

A total of ten teams, including three teams from abroad, competed in the tournament.
