News ANFA Increases Preparation Money For A Division League Clubs

ANFA has increased the preparation money given to clubs. ANFA has increased the sum from Rs. 22.5 lakh to Rs. 32.5 as announced at a workshop held with the A Division League clubs on Monday. 

However, the prize money has remained unchanged. The winners of the top flight will still receive 75 lakh rupees while the runners-up and the third placed teams will each receive 50 lakh and 25 million rupees respectively.

Fair Play Award prize money has been increased from one lakh rupees to three lakh rupees. The player of the tournament (MVP) will receive three lakh rupees while the top scorer and the best goalkeeper of the tournament will each receive two lakh rupees. Player of the match in each match will receive Rs. 10,000.

ANFA President Pankaj Bikram Nembang, Senior Vice President Bir Bahadur Khadka, Vice President Birat Jung Shahi, General Secretary Kiran Rai, executive committee members and representatives from all 14 A Division League clubs were present in the workshop.

The A Division League is going to begin on January 10 in a double round robin format. ANFA is also studying the possibilities of holding the league outside Kathmandu Valley.
