Udaypur - Malitham Football Club have entered the final of the third Udaypurgarhi Gold Cup Open Knockout Football Tournament. Malitham beat Katari FC 1-0 in the first semi-final held at Bhakunde Chaur on Saturday and came close to the title.

Sadam Sansur of Malitham was declared the man of the match. He was presented with a trophy sponsored by Malpi International College, Kathmandu along with Rs. 2,000 in cash. According to the organizers, the second semi-final of the tournament will be played between Gaighat FC and Golbazar Pratibha Club on Sunday.

The winners of the competition organized by Adarsh ​​Youth Club, Nepaltar, Udaypur will receive Rs. 1,20,000 cash along with the title, while the runners-up will receiveRs.  60,000.

The final of the tournament in which a total of eight teams are participating will be held on the 7th of Kartik.
