
United Youth Football Club 'Blue' have lifted the title of the second UYFC Knockout Football Tournament held in Qatar by UYFC. They defeated Nine Star FC on penalties in the final to lift the title of the tournament.
UYFC received 1801 Riyal being the winners while Nine Star received 120 Riyal as the runners-up of the tournament.
Prabin Rai of Nine Star was awarded the player of the tournament award. Similarly in other categories, Bish Tamang of Nine Star was named the best defender, Aashish Limbu of UYFC was named the best goalkeeper, Shyam Tamang of UYFC was named the best coach while Paras Limbu of NYC Qatar finished as the highest scorer in the tournament with five goals.
The tournament was held on the occasion of Bakra-Eid (Eid-ul-Adha) in Barwa al Barah, Sanaiya 52, Qatar.
The tournament was organized by United Youth Football Club with the aim of betterment of the health of Nepali people currently residing in Qatar during the holiday.
GoalNepal was the official media partner of the tournament while the Nepal Super League side Jhapa FC was the strategic partner.
