News Nepal Starts Training In Kuwait, Session Open For Fans Today

The Nepali national football team, which arrived in Kuwait for the AFC Asian Cup 2023 selection, has completed the first day's practice.

The Nepali team in Kuwait City completed the first day's practice session at the Al Shabab Stadium in Ahmadi. The Nepali team reached Kuwait after completing the stay in Doha, Qatar for ten days.

In Qatar, Nepal played friendly matches against Timor Leste, Sri Lanka and Oman. After a 2-2 draw with Timor-Leste and a 1-1 draw with Sri Lanka, Nepal lost 2-0 to Oman. After this, the Nepali team arrived in Kuwait on Saturday.

Nepal will practice on the same ground tomorrow, Monday. Coach Abdullah Almutairi has said that Nepali supporters will be allowed to watch the practice session of their country in the exercise which will start at 7 PM local time.

Currently, the team has nine officials along with 23 players. Nepal, which is in Group A, will play against Jordan on 8th June, Kuwait on 11th June and Indonesia on 14th June.
