Kakarvitta City U14 league got underway at Kakarvitta, Jhapa on Saturday.
Happy Club defeated Classic Warriors 1-0 in the opening match played at school ground.
Binaya Sarki scored the match winning goal in 15th minute. Aditya Dhungel became the player of the match and goalie Pranish Sherpa became the emerging player.
Rising club will play against Sangam FC in today's match.
Kakarvitta football training centre is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of Nrs 50,000.
