In the first encounter of the AFC Futsal Asian Cup qualifiers, Nepal will meet Uzbekistan tomorrow. Nepal will meet Uzbekistan at the Gazprom Sports Complex in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. According to NST, the match will begin at 10:45 a.m.

This time, Nepal is aiming for a historic victory in the qualifiers. So far, Nepal has failed to win in the qualifiers. Nepal is aiming to qualify for the second stage this time. The Nepali team's head coach, Gaurav Basnet, expressed confidence in his team's ability to win with a mix of young and experienced players.

This year's team consists of a mix of youthful and experienced members. At a pre-match press conference on Saturday, coach Basnet stated, "We are optimistic of winning at least one game this year. It's not likely but everyone wants to win at least one game."

Coach Basnet explained that the team only had two months to practice owing to the pandemic and other technical issues. "We had two months to practice." Our preparation, on the other hand, appears to be adequate. We kept an eye on the teams we are facing. I expect everyone to put in a solid effort," he added.

Coach Basnet stated that, despite the poor performance in the previous encounters against Uzbekistan, the goal this time was to at least hold them to a draw.

"In 2019 and 2017, we played Uzbekistan." 'We know their game and have closely observed it,' he said. 'We were defeated 14-1 in 2017 and reduced to 4-1 in 2019.' We're hoping to win or at the very least play for a draw this year.'

On April 11, Nepal, which is in Group B of the Central and South Zone of the selection, will face Tajikistan in the second encounter. On April 12, Nepal will play Afghanistan in the final match.
