Friends Club have qualified for the final of the fifth Chief Minister Far-Western Khaptad Gold Cup 2078. Friends defeated Bagmati Youth Club 2-0 in the second semi-final today to book their match against Manang Marshyangdi Club in the final.

Jamoul Anthony opened the scoring for Friends in the 64th minute of the match while Rajib Lopchan doubled the lead in the 71st minute.

Dady Wamba Junior pulled one back for Bagmati in the 83rd minute but couldn't take his team home.

The winners of the tournament will receive 21 lakhs rupees and the runners-up will receive 10 lakhs rupees.
