In the home encounter for Persija, they were a goal down in the seventh minute when Youssef Ezzejjari opened the scoring for Persik. Makan Konate equalized for Persija just seven minutes later.

Irfan Jauhari, then, won the match for Persija in the third minute of stoppage time to win his team all three points. Rohit Chand played the whole ninety minutes.
