Jhapa: Birtamod United Club Enters SFs Of District Wide Open Football Championship

Birtamod United has entered semifinals of Jhapa district wide open football championship.

Birtamod defeated Kakarvitta football training centre 3-1 on penalties at Badakhal, Jhapa on Wednesday.

Both teams played 1-1 draw in regulation time.

Birtamod goalie Bishal Mukhiya blocked three spot kicks. He became the man of the match.

Jhapa DFA general secretary Sundar Basnet gave away man of the match award.

Hosts Nawa Jyoti will meet Dhulabari FC on Thursday.

The championship has a winning purse of Rs 51,000.
