The Ocean Club, Gorkha, from January 1st is organizing a Football Fair. The preparations for that is at final stages according to the president of the organizers Khamit Khatri.

According to the president Khatri, in the fair, U-13 and veteran tournaments will be organized. Imab B Memorial Establishment ground in Gorkha-9, Galbhanjyang will host the fair. U-13 tournament will be played in two stages according to Khatri.

In the first stage, teams from Gorkha Municipality will participate and in the second stage, teams from other districts will also participate. The games of first stage will he held every Saturday so the tournament will be prolonged according to president Khatri.

Similarly, second stage matchee will be held in March with twelve 12 teams from around tye country. Khatri said that the football fair is being organized in Gorkha district with the objective of creating a good football environment at the national level from the grassroots level.

He also said that the best players would be selected from the U-13 competition and free training would be arranged. The winners and runners-up of the competition will also be given trophies, medals, certificates and cash prizes, according to the organizers.
