Rising Star Club has won the title of U13 football championship in Gorkha.

Rising Star defeated Mahin Danda Unique club 2-1 in the final match played at Dal Bhanjyang on Tuesday.

The champions received trophy, medals and certificates.

In veterans category, Gurkhaz United defeated Hero Dhalke Jowan club 2-1. The winners get one goat.

Gorkha municipality mayor Rajan Raj Panta and other guests distributed prizes to the winners.

Meanwhile, The Ocean club has honored Ranjit Shrestha with life time achievement award and honored its player Manoj Magrati for playing good football throughout the year.

President of the club, Amit Khatri thanked everyone for their support in making the program successful.
