News A Division League: Franklin Kyoutte's Wonder-goal Rescues MMC A Point

Manang Marshyangdi left it late to come away with a hard-fought point against Sankata Club at the Dasharath Stadium today. A wonder strike from Franklin Kyoutte in the fourth minute of kept Manang's unbeates run intact in the league.

Niraj Basnet scored in two matches in a row to give Sankata the lead in the 32nd minute. The Laxman Ruchal ball was met by Niraj from close range in the far post. Bishal Sunar couldn't get to the ball and Niraj headed it home.

But just three minutes later, Dayananda Singh equalised for Manang. Olawale flicked th3 ball towards the six-yard box by meeting the ball in from the free kick which was then met by the Indian.

In the second half, Uttam Rai netted a close range header for Sankata to give them the lead again. He was free inside the six-yard box to head in a Fofana cross from the left hand side.

Manang were struggling to create chances after conceding the second goal. However, a Franklin Kyoutte wonder goal in the dying minutes of the match gave Manang the all important point. Frankin jumped high to hit the vollley in the air to the top corner. Yadav in Sankata goal had no chance of saving that.

Manang continue their unbeaten run in the league to get to seven points in three matches and Sankata move to five points from three matches. Bishnu Gurung, the Sankata manager would be disappointed to come out with a single point from this encounter.

Manang will face Friends Club on matchweek four while Sankata will face Nepal Police Club.
