With an easy victory, Lalitpur Metropolitan City and Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan City advanced to the semifinals of the ongoing Deputy Mayor's Cup National Women's League selection competition.
Lalitpur, who also won Group B in the first round, advanced to the last four after defeating Group D champion Shivasatakshi Municipality 4-0 at Satdobato's ANFA Complex
In the second quarterfinal, Dhangadhi Municipality defeated Bansgadhi Municipality 12-1 to advance to the semi-final. Remember that both Lalitpur and Dhangadhi received a first-round bye. On Wednesday, two additional quarterfinal games will be played.
The ongoing competition, overseen by the All Nepal Football Association, drew a total of 31 teams (ANFA).
The two teams that reach the final of the competition will be selected for the National Women's League. The final will be held on this 28th of Kartik.
