SAFF Championship 2021: Maldives Beats Bangladesh In A High Octane Match

Maldives have bounced back from Nepal defeat at they defeated Bangladesh 2-0 in the SAFF Championship match played at national stadium, Male, Maldives on Thursday night.
Hamza Mohamed scored the opener in 57th minute with his acrobatic shot and the veteran Ali Ashfaq doubled the lead through spot in 76th minute.
Ashfaq became the man of the match.
Maldives had suffered 0-1 defeat at the hands of Nepal and they were desperate for the win.
Maldives have moved to third position with three points fom two matches while Bangladesh have four points from three matches.
