Nepal coach Abdullah Almutairi is not carried away with two wins in two matches in SAFF Championship. Rather he has asked fans to remain calm.

Nepal defeated Sri Lanka 3-2 in Male city on Monday night to go top of the standing.

Coach AA said, "I am very happy today because we took three points. It was a very difficult game. The most important thing in this competition is points.

"Today we have six points from two matches. Now, may be, we have chance to enter final. It is not finished yet. I want people to calm down", said coach AA.

Coach AA thinks pressure is now on other teams.

"I think pressure is now on the other teams. We will wait till 7th of October. Let’s see other surprises will happen", said Kuwaiti coach.

Regarding some overseas players in Sri Lanka who made the impact, coach said it is good for all teams.

“We also have some players abroad. There is rule in Nepal which doesn’t allow dual passport, which I can’t do anything. Sri Lanka have overseas players and it is good for them. If you have blood of the nation, you can play. We must thank AFC, FIFA for allowing them to play the game.

"If we have players, we should also allow them to play by changing the rule. We will be more better.

It is my personal opinion", said the coach.

Coach AA said he won't mind if India dominate them in ball possession.

"In competition, we care about the points. May be some people may don’t like our performance against Maldives & Sri Lanka but remember I have six points.

Next match is against India. I don’t mind if India keeps 98% of ball possession and leave 2% for me, I will be happy if we score one goal. I don’t mind. That is khallas.

Nepal will now take on India on October 10 and against Bangladesh on October 13. Top two teams from the group will play the final match.
