Nepal National Futsal League Kicks Off; The Rising Club & Sports Castle Register Win

First ever Nepal national Futsal league got underway in Pokhara stadium on Saturday.
Two matches were played in the opening day. The Rising club from Dharan and Sports Castle from Pokhara won their respective matches.
In the first match, The Rising club defeated Machhindra Sky Goals 5-4 in a tight match. Rewash Maskey became the player of the match and received NRs 5,000 cash.
In the second match, Sports Castle defeated Prabhatferi club Kathmandu 7-0.
Gandaki province sports minister Deepak Managey, ANFA president Karma Tsering Sherpa, Futsal committe president Ratna Kumar Shrestha, ANFA Futsal chief Binod Gurung and other officials were present in the program.
10 teams are taking part in the event, which has a winning purse of NRs 10 lakh.
