Preeti Rai Adjudged Shero Of The Match; Receives NRs 25,000

Prolific striker Preeti Rai has been adjudged the shero of the first friendly match played against Bangladesh on Thursday.

Rai scored her debut goal in 23rd minute. Sabita Rana scored another goal as Nepal defeated Bangladesh 2-1 at Dasharath stadium.

Rai received NRs 25,000, which is sponsored by Nepalese football supporters group, Hamro Football Nepal.

NSC member secretary Ramesh Silwal, ANFA prez Karma Tsering Sherpa were present in the ceremony.

Second friendly match will be played on September 12 at the same venue.
