Nepal head coach Abdullah Almutairi has trimmed the squad to 25 on Tuesday.

He axed goalie Arpan Karki and forward duo Sishir Lekhi and Abhisek Rijal.

Team is currently in Pokhara to prepare for two match friendly series against India and for upcoming SAFF Championship that Maldives is hosting from October 1.

Matches against India will be played on September 2 & 5 at Dasharath stadium.
