Debutant Manish Dangi said he wanted to waork hard to get better results for Nepal and Nepalese football fans.
Dangi scored debut goal for Nepal against Iraq on Saturday night. Nepal lost 2-6 in a high scoring match.
"It was a good experience for me (to play debut match). We played against good team, good players. We couldn't draw good result as we wanted but we learned a lot from the match", said Dangi.
He also said that he was happy for debut goal but he actually wanted better result against Iraq.
"I am happy for the goal but sad that we couldn't get better result. I want to work hard for better results in coming days", he said.
Nepal is now heading towards Kuwait City to compete in FIFA World cup qualifiers where they will meet Australia, Jordan and Chinese Taipei.
