Bhojpur: African Roots Enter SFs Of Bhojpur Gold Cup

African Roots have entered semifinals of 4th Bhojpur mayor gold cup football tournament.

African roots defeated Dhankuta FC 3-0 in the third quarterfinal match played at Bhojpur tundikhel on Tuesday.

Mfomo (40'), C Mbakop (46') and Megboutu (61') scored apiece for the winners.

Red Horse FC, Ilam will play against Gorkha Boys club, Rupandehi in the last quarterfinal match on Wednesday.

Bhojpur DFA is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of NRs 5 lakh.

Bhojpur municipality is the main sponsor of the event with NRs 25 lakh.
