Preparation has been completed for 5th Rajarshi Janak cup football tournament.

10 teams are taking part in the event, which has a winning purse of NRs 10 lakh.



Chandragiri municipality, Kathmandu will play against Piple youth club, Hetauda in the opening match.

 African Roots and Kanchanjunga FC, Siliguri are two foreign teams.

Bagmati municipality is the main supporter of the event. It's mayor Bharat Thapa is sports crazy and backs the club wholeheartedly.

The club will also honor one player from Sarlahi with "Bagmati player of the year".
