Mahottari: Bhangaha Mayor Cup Kicks Off; Tribhuwan Army FC Enters SFs

Bhangaha Mayor cup got underway at Sitapur, Mahottari on Saturday.

Tribhuwan Army club defeated Dharan FC in sudden death to enter semifinals. Army goalie Bibas Chaudhary became the player of the match and received Nrs 5,000 cash.

Nepal APF will play against Satashidham Sporting club, Jhapa on Sunday.

Eight teams are taking part in the event, which has a winning purse of Nrs 5 lakh. Runners up team will get Nrs 2 lakh.

Earlier, ANFA president Karma Tsering Sherpa inaugurated the championship.
