ANFA president Karma Tsering Sherpa has congratulated SAG 2019 gold medal winning team and has promised exiting reward.

Nepal defeated Bhutan 2-1 to win gold in SA Games in a row. Nepal had defeated India to win gold in 2016 SA Games.

Sherpa said, "I am very proud of my team. The association will leave no stone unturned to make them happy. We will announce the reward after executive meeting".

"The reward will be exciting. Provincial government, metros, municipalities are also eager to honor the players", added Sherpa.

He also added that the next target is to win SAFF championship.

"To be honest, our target is to win SAFF championship. We have already started preparation for the event", said Sherpa.

Bangladesh is hosting next SAFF in 2020.
