Nepal APF suffered 1-0 defeat at the hands of George Telegraph in pre-quarterfinal match of 38th Governor's gold cup football tournament played in Gangtok on Wednesday.

Mahitesh Roy scored the match winner for the Kolkata based club.

Telegraph will play against ATK reserves on October 28.

Another team from Nepal, MMC is also playing in the competition. MMC will play against the winner of Rainbow SC and Kolkata Customs on October 30.

Sikkim FA is organizing the championship.
