Childreach Nepal has joined hands with GoalNepal.com for the promotion and development of Nepalese football.
Childreach Nepal has provided 30 indestructible footballs to GoalNepal. Footballs are worth USD 1500.
Programme coordinator Prateek Syangden handed over the special footballs to GoalNepal CEO Bikram Thapa amid a program organized in Lalitpur on Wednesday.
GoalNepal is supporting youth football academies of Nepal every month. It is helping academies with football jersey set and indestructible footballs so that they can train regularly.
"We are using football as a tool to promote awareness in our communities. We strongly believe that football can bring social changes that are good for us.
"We are working hard since nine years for the promotion and development of Nepalese football and we will welcome everyone who understands our approach and vision", said CEO Thapa.
Childreach Nepal, a reputed international NGO in Nepal since 2009, is implementing sports initiatives to address issues that are rampant in Nepalese communities.
The programme focuses on reducing dropout rates in the schools, which leads to prevent child trafficking, unsafe migration and other issues related to child abuse.
It also focuses on bringing equality among the community regardless of gender, race and ethnicity.
"We are thankful to Chidreach Nepal for understanding our movement", said CEO Thapa.
